Reo-Coker back for Villa

Nigel Reo-Coker has been recalled to the Aston Villa squad after a clash with boss Martin O'Neill and could feature against Blackburn. Reo-Coker was dropped from O'Neill's plans for last weekend's league game with Portsmouth after the pair had clashed at Villa's Bodymoor Heath training complex. The 25-year-old former West Ham player also did not feature in the midweek Carling Cup encounter with Cardiff despite O'Neill making several changes to his line-up. But Reo-Coker travelled with Villa on the team coach on Friday lunchtime, ahead of the Premier League match at Ewood Park. "He's in the squad for tomorrow. The squad of players travelling to Blackburn. It won't be easy, but Nigel is in the squad," O'Neill said on Sky Sports News. O'Neill was coy on the subject and refused to give too much away when quizzed on their relationship, simply stating: "I think everything seems to be OK." He added: "Someone asked me a question there not so long ago - it was 'is there a secret to keeping everyone happy at the football club?' Well if there is, we hope we haven't passed it on." Villa travel to Blackburn in search of a seventh successive win in all competitions and it is thought injury to midfielder Steve Sidwell has prompted the return of Reo-Coker.
