Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has admitted he is in the dark over Darren Bent's future with the striker set for a move away from White Hart Lane. The England international, who has been strongly linked with a move to Sunderland, is now reported to be attracting interest from Aston Villa and Hull City. Bent left the Spurs squad on the plane moments before they were due to depart for China on Monday and was expected to complete his move to Wearside soon after. But there has been no further progress on the deal and there has been speculation that Premier League rivals Villa and the Tigers could be ready to step in. No ideaRedknapp, who watched his side secure a place in the final of the Barclays Asia Trophy today with a 1-0 win over West Ham, revealed he has heard nothing further regarding Bent. "I have no idea," he said. "I haven't spoken to the chairman for two days so I don't know where we are with that deal with Sunderland. "When we came away it was very close but I have not heard any more. "I'll speak with the chairman and see if anything is happening but if not then we have a terrific strike force for next season."
