Redknapp - Duo not for sale
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has denied Jermaine Jenas and David Bentley are up for sale, while confirming his liking of David James.
The pair have been linked with Aston Villa recently, although Redknapp has not held any talks with manager Martin O'Neill.
Redknapp has heard the rumours surrounding the pair, but believes it is simply the work of an agent drumming up interest in his player.
The 62-year-old insists the duo are part of his long-term plans for the club, although he concedes every player has their price.
Jenas is currently sidelined through injury, but Redknapp is hoping the ex-Newcastle midfielder is fit to face West Ham this weekend.
"I keep hearing that. I've never heard from Martin or anyone else about it," he told Sky Sports News.
"I just think it's probably a football agent trying to sell one of his players to make some money.
"Trying to gee-up some interest from somewhere, but they are good players.
"Jenas is injured unfortunately at the moment. He's a great lad and a good player. Hopefully he'll be fit for the weekend.
"If someone offers crazy money for any footballer, as it proved with Ronaldo, then it's good business.
"You can never say never with any player, but he isn't a player that we want to sell."
Meanwhile, Redknapp has confirmed his interest in David James, but insist nothing is likely while he has two keepers at White
Hart Lane.
Carlo Cudicini was brought in to compliment Heurelho Gomes earlier this season and Redknapp is happy with his number one options.
"Anyone would want him but I have two keepers and I cannot take another one," he continued.
"If I didn't have a goalkeeper he would be top of my list. I'm okay in that position.
"Jamo for me is still England's best goalkeeper, he's fantastic. Hopefully they can keep hold of him because he'll play a major part for them."
