Pires set to decide on future

Robert Pires has revealed that he will make a decision on his footballing future in the next fortnight.[LNB] The 37-year-old midfielder is currently without a club after being released by Aston Villa.[LNB]The World Cup winner endured a frustrating time with the Premier League outfit last season and believes he still has unfinished business.[LNB]That suggests the former Metz, Marseille, Arsenal and Villarreal man will play on, but he admits he has no offers currently on the table.[LNB]"I can continue looking for a club for the next couple of weeks, then I will have to wait until the winter market opens and that is quite far away," Pires told L'Equipe.[LNB]"In the next few days I will make a decision about my future.[LNB]"Today I have no concrete offers, but we will see what happens in the next week or two.[LNB]"I don't want to end my career on the back of my experience at Aston Villa last season.[LNB]"I still have the desire and motivation. We will see what happens in the coming days. I appreciate that I am shifting towards the end of my career."
