Petrov hopes for Milner U-turn
Stiliyan Petrov believes there is a chance James Milner could stay at Aston Villa after receiving a standing ovation on Saturday.
Villa fans reacted warmly to Milner's performance in the 3-0 win over West Ham, which came despite him seemingly being on the way out of Villa Park and heading to Manchester City.
Fellow midfielder Petrov told the Birmingham Mail: "He deserves the standing ovation because you don't see many more honest players in the world coming out and playing like that with such heart.
"He was flattered and when you play for a team you make the fans happy and when you see the fans are behind you it makes it harder to leave. After that he may even decide to stay, you never know."
