O'Neill warns Eagles off starlet

Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill has ruled out loaning out young striker Nathan Delfouneso to Crystal Palace.[LNB] Eagles boss Neil Warnock has confirmed his interest in the highly-rated 18-year-old as he looks to bolster his attacking options.[LNB]Delfouneso has impressed when given the chance at Villa this season, scoring three goals in seven appearances and O'Neill is keen to keep him at Villa Park.[LNB]Asked about any possible move to Palace, O'Neill said: "He (Palace boss Neil Warnock) hasn't got a prayer. I'm sure he would like to have him. I'm delighted he told the papers instead of me. [LNB]"Funnily enough, I didn't know anything about that so that's news to me. Next season I expect him to be a fully paid-up member of the first team."[LNB]
