Speculation surrounding John Carew's future at Aston Villa has been laid to rest by Martin O'Neill.[LNB] Reports had suggested the Norway international could be on the move this summer after a two-and-a-half-year stay in England.[LNB]Despite notching 13 goals during the course of the current campaign, Carew suffered a falling out with his manger prior to a Uefa Cup clash with Ajax in October.[LNB]He then saw O'Neill bring in Emile Heskey from Wigan during the January transfer window.[LNB]However, the Villa boss has now outlined his plans for next season and Carew features prominently in them.[LNB]O'Neill said: "We've got Gabby (Agbonlahor), we've got Emile and we've got John. We look, if they stay fit, as if we have a potent threat - not only for the back end of this season, but next season and going forward.[LNB]Delighted"All three, if they can stay fit for next season, will definitely pose problems in whichever order we play - including all three of them at the same time.[LNB]"Emile did great against West Ham last weekend although he got very tired after missing the previous couple of weeks through injury.[LNB]"John is very, very strong at the moment and with Gabby coming back from injury, these three can only add to their goal tally. I am delighted with our play going forward in general."[LNB]O'Neill is hoping to be able to call upon Agbonlahor this weekend when Villa head to Bolton, with the flying forward missing the 1-1 draw with West Ham last week with a hamstring injury.[LNB]"Gabby is improving," he said.[LNB]"He did a bit of light stuff in the early part of this week and we will now see how he is over the next couple of days. But he is making progress."[LNB]
