Michael Bradley joins Aston Villa as Stephen Ireland heads to Newcastle

Aston Villa have confirmed the signing of midfielder Michael Bradley on loan for the rest of the season from Borussia Monchengladbach.[LNB]Villa have also allowed Stephen Ireland to join Newcastle. The midfielder has struggled to settle at Villa Park since his summer switch from Manchester City, and was on Tyneside last night for a medical and to finalise personal terms.
