MAN CITY v Aston Villa: Bellamy and Robinho missing for City

03 March 2009 13:03
Manchester City manager Mark Hughes will be without strikers Craig Bellamy and Robinho for Wednesday's clash with Aston Villa at Eastlands.   Bellamy will have a scan on a knee injury he suffered at West Ham on Sunday. Lay-off: Bellamy could be out of action for a couple of weeks Hughes confirmed it is a fresh problem, not a recurrence of a previous injury, but he still expects the Wales skipper to be missing for at least a fortnight.   Robinho is also sidelined after picking up a knee injury at Upton Park, while Micah Richards is a major doubt with a hamstring problem.   Man City (from): Given, Hart, Schmeichel, Richards, Onuoha, Dunne, Kompany, Bridge, Garrido, Zabaleta, Elano, Caicedo, Ireland, De Jong, Fernandes, Vassell, Weiss, Evans, Bojinov, Logan, Berti.
