Luke Young glad he knocked back Liverpool to stay at Aston Villa
Luke Young is relieved he snubbed Liverpool in the summer to stay with Aston Villa. [LNB]The 31-year-old defender knocked back a £2.5million move to Anfield and, with the Reds in serious trouble near the foot of the Premier League, Young is convinced he made the right decision. [LNB]The full-back said: 'It was a very difficult decision at the time because I had to weigh up certain things. But I felt I had more chance of getting in the first team at Villa.
