And the Aston Villa player admits his versatility may help him to nail down a spot in the World Cup squad this summer.[LNB]Milner was surprisingly named as a right-back - along with Wes Brown - when Capello revealed his party for the final game before the provisional squad for South Africa has to be chosen.[LNB]The former Newcastle player has predominantly played in central midfield, wide right and wide left for Villa.[LNB]But he has also been switched to right-back on occasions when Villa have brought on other attacking options in matches.[LNB]And Capello also used Milner as a left-back during the latter stages of the home World Cup qualifier with Belarus at Wembley earlier in the season.[LNB]Milner told Press Association Sport: "When I've played at right-back for Villa, it's usually been when we are behind and chasing the game so it was more like a wing-back.[LNB]"My best position is definitely more attacking central midfield, which I am enjoying immensely at the moment, or right-wing and left-wing.[LNB]"That is more suited to my game but, if the manager asks me to play right-back, I'll do it to the best of my ability.[LNB]"I would never turn it down. You just want to get out there and play. If he asks me to play there, I'd do it as well as I can. I'll give it my all."[LNB]Milner added: "Maybe the versatility can count in your favour when it comes to the World Cup.[LNB]"Tournament football is different in the sense you are away for a few weeks, you can't call-up players from outside of the squad - and you will get injuries and suspensions.[LNB]"If being versatile does help me, that is great. Obviously it is down to the England manager to decide that.[LNB]"I'll keep doing as well as I can and keep putting forward as good a case as I can to be involved in the summer."[LNB]Milner is adamant the atmosphere in the England squad is fine after the much-publicised spat between deposed skipper John Terry and Wayne Bridge.[LNB]And he hopes Bridge will change his mind and make himself available to play again for his country.[LNB]Milner said: "The atmosphere is fine. We are here to play football. Nothing has changed there.[LNB]"We are here as footballers, everything has been fine, and we've got a job to do.[LNB]"We concentrate on what we can do on the field, be professional, and get on with the job in hand, and that's what we will do.[LNB]"It is down to Wayne Bridge whether he changes his mind. That is down to him.[LNB]"He is a top player, and you want your best players available, so if he was to be available again, that's great, but it's his decision."[LNB]Milner is confident Stoke defender Ryan Shawcross will be able to recover after being involved in the incident which saw Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey break his leg on Saturday.[LNB]Shawcross trained with England for the first time today after his call-up by Capello.[LNB]Milner said: "I spoke to Ryan a bit this morning going to training. It is a big thing being in your first England squad - and it is a great thing as well.[LNB]"It is about being as comfortable as you can and us making it as easy as possible for him to feel at home as quickly as possible.[LNB]"He is a good player with a good head on his shoulders. These things happen in football. I think we all know what he is like as a player.[LNB]"I don't think he is a dirty player by any means. He is a very good player who goes in fairly."[LNB][LNB][LNB] England v Egypt Both Players To Score: Rooney & Lampard both to score 6/1
