Holloway keen on Osbourne

Blackpool manager Ian Holloway has admitted an interest in signing Aston Villa midfielder Isaiah Osbourne. The 21-year-old is not getting close to the first team at Villa Park, and Seasiders manager Ian Holloway admitted he was waiting to hear from Martin O'Neill. Holloway signed Osbourne on loan whilst he was manager of Leicester, but the midfielder was recalled after just one training session, and the Pool boss is keen on taking the youngster to Bloomfield Road. "The truth is that I asked their manager about him and he said he might sell him," he told the Blackpool Gazette. "He is not getting a look-in (at Villa) at the moment. His agent rang me and said Isaiah has asked if I would have him again, which is nice. "But as far as I was concerned that was left with Martin O'Neill. Martin was going to get back in touch with me and he hasn't called me yet." Meanwhile, Holloway also admitted that he is keeping tabs on Barnet winger Albert Adomah, and remains hopeful that a deal can be done. "We are still monitoring the situation," he said. "He is another one with outstanding pace and a very good prospect. He fits what I am after."
