Have Villa Made McGeady Bid?
Celtic receive offer for prize asset Villa could be set to make Aiden McGeady their first signing of the summer. Celtic boss Neil Lennon has confirmed that his club have received a susbantial offer for their prize asset. And with Martin O'Neill believed to be a long time admirer of the player, it could have been he who made the bid to bring McGeady to England. James Milner's future is still uncertain with Manchester City still retaining an interest in the player, but unwilling to meet Villa's £30million valuation. However should City boss Roberto Mancini make his move, then McGeady could be the ideal replacement for the England ace. The Hoops hot-shot has long been heralded as a future Premier League star and he may just get the chance to prove it sooner rather than later.
