For Villa to win the title they would have to move up into a gear they donâ€™t yet have and, despite being close on points, the more experienced teams above them would have to seriously wilt under the pressure of the title race.
It is not going to happen and wishful thinking out loud can only distract Martin Oâ€™Neillâ€™s side from the task in hand.
