Nicky Shorey has admitted he faces an uncertain future at Aston Villa.
Shorey appeared to swear at manager Martin O'Neill when he was substituted during the defeat at Fulham last month.
The former Reading full-back has refused to comment on the incident - but does not know if he will still be with Villa next season following his £4 million move last August.
'Who knows? It's not for me to say, I haven't got a clue,' said Shorey.
'I want to play football for the full 90 minutes, that's the bottom line, I'm not going into details.
'It's been ups and downs - but not the way I would have wanted it to go.'
Shorey fell out of favour after a costly error against Middlesbrough in November before regaining his first team place.
