Fabrice Muamba news: Blackburn prepared to postpone Bolton game

lackburn are willing to postpone Saturday's relegation clash with Bolton if their local rivals feel unable to play so soon after Fabrice Muamba's collapse. [LNB]Rovers had a heart scare of their own in December when Gael Givet suffered palpitations in a game at Sunderland, who are the visitors to Ewood Park on Tuesday night. [LNB]And manager Steve Kean reassured Bolton that their wishes will be paramount when considering whether to go ahead with this weekend's Lancashire derby at the Reebok. [LNB] Support: Blackburn are prepared to postpone Saturday's game against Bolton if Owen Coyle's club are not ready to play[LNB]'We respect what they want as a club,' said Kean. 'We hope he makes a full recovery but if they need a little bit more time and the game doesn't go ahead then we would respect that from Bolton's point of view.[LNB]  'We'll communicate with the powers-that-be and hope it's all positive. But it puts everything in perspective.' [LNB]Givet had keyhole surgery to correct a problem he had previously experienced while playing for Monaco, and returned to action for Blackburn 11 days later. [LNB] But Kean admits it could easily have turned out differently. [LNB] Talks: Rovers boss Steve Kean said he will speak to Bolton counterpart Coyle[LNB]'We felt we got away with it there,' he added. 'Gael's heart went into a state where we couldn't regulate it. He actually said to the doctor at half-time, "I'm struggling here". We stuck a heart rate monitor on him and it was going through the roof. [LNB]  'The doc was telling me, "you need to get him off, this is very dangerous". We were fortunate to get him off the pitch before we got to the stage where he collapsed. We knew he'd had it before, so it was lucky really.[LNB] 'So I can't think what the rest of those Bolton players are going through. A young player like that with his energy and the way he got around the pitch was a big part of his game. [LNB]'To see him struck down like that will hit everyone between the eyes. All we can do is hope he comes through it.' [LNB] Critical: Fabrice Muamba remains in intensive care after his heart attack at White Hart Lane[LNB]Sunderland players and coaching staff took a detour to the Reebok Stadium on Monday to pay their respects to Muamba. [LNB]Manager Martin O'Neill and his squad left a signed Sunderland shirt with the message 'Get Well Soon 4 Muamba'. They stayed for several minutes to read tributes left by fans from across the country before leaving for their team hotel near Blackburn. [LNB]England Under 21 striker Connor Wickham tweeted: 'Just been to lay shirt down for Fab, some great support from fans all over the country, all of our wishes and support go to him.'
