Everton face a battle from Aston Villa to sign Middlesbrough defender David Wheater
Plenty to chew over: Everton and Aston Villa want David Wheater[LNB]Everton are considering a move for Middlesbrough defender David Wheater as they look to avert a defensive injury crisis - but will face competition from Aston Villa.[LNB]Wheater turns 24 in February and is out of contract in the summer but cash-strapped Boro are looking for around £2million now.[LNB]Manager David Moyes has a limited budget but is hopeful of striking a deal.
