Gabriel Agbonlahor insists England had no issue with him withdrawing from the squad to face Denmark for 'family matters'.[LNB]The 24-year-old is also hoping Aston Villa boss Gerard Houllier will restore him into his preferred central striking slot rather than using him in a wide role.[LNB] Withdrawal: Gabriel Agbonlahor pulled out of England's clash in Denmark[LNB]Agbonlahor said: 'There are a few family matters I had to deal with, but I was disappointed not to go (to Denmark).[LNB]'I spoke to them and they are fine with it so I look forward to future squads.[LNB]'Of course, I love playing for my country and I think if you ask any of the players who have had to pull out it is not the sort of thing you want to do.[LNB]'But unfortunately these things do happen, you just have to get on with it and report to the next squad.[LNB]The main man: Gerard Houllier[LNB]'These things happen and you have to pull out, whether it is injuries or in my case family reasons, you have to pull out now and then.'[LNB]Houllier has used club record signing Darren Bent as his main out-and-out front player since his ?18 million move from Sunderland.[LNB]Agbonlahor added: 'Obviously everyone knows I want to play in that position where Darren is at the moment.[LNB]'But it is for the team. We've been looking to get results and different players have been asked to play different positions.[LNB]'So you don't moan, you just get on with it. Maybe sooner or later I'll get the chance to play where I want to play.[LNB]'At the moment, as I said, this season is all about getting results. It has been a tough season so there will not be any moaning and I'll just get on with it.[LNB]'You never know with injuries cropping up. We needed that sort of back-up when we had a lot of injuries and people had to play different positions then.[LNB]'I think it is good that we are starting to get a bigger squad which we have not had for a few seasons, so I think we are looking good at the moment.'[LNB] McAllister hopes Villa's January spree will convince ace Young to stay putVersatile Walker races into England line-up after super strike for Villa [LNB] [LNB]  Explore more:People: Darren Bent, Gerard Houllier, Gabriel Agbonlahor Places: United Kingdom, Denmark
