Ashley Young came off the bench to score England's winner against Denmark and heap pressure on Wayne Rooney's place in the team.[LNB] Fabio Capello was forced to admit that Rooney is no longer undroppable after scoring one goal in 14 games for England, a run lasting 17 months.[LNB]Read Matt Lawton's match report Misfiring: Wayne Rooney went round the keeper but his effort was blocked on the line[LNB] Daniel Agger headed Denmark into the lead in Copenhagen's Parken Stadium but Young's Aston Villa team-mate Darren Bent quickly equalised and gave the manager a selection poser in attack for next month's Euro 2012 qualifier against Wales.[LNB] Asked about Rooney, Capello said: 'There's big competition because all the players can play. It's not easy to choose for me. I have to decide in future which one plays, depending on what form they're in.'[LNB] Young looked a greater threat in the 'hole' behind centre forward Bent than the Manchester United striker, adding extra zip and movement to England's attack.[LNB] Capello said: 'In this position he's really good because he's free, he can run where he wants. He has to defend when he has to defend but he's really fast, technically good, and really dangerous for the opponents. Also when he plays with Aston Villa. He's good with his dribbling, shooting and passing.'[LNB] Clinical: Ashley Young scores the winner[LNB] There was praise from the Italian for 19-year-old Jack Wilshere, who started his first England game in a deep midfield role.[LNB] Capello described the teenager's performance as 'an interesting debut' and said it was too early to decide if he would keep his place against Wales in Cardiff.[LNB] Wilshere, who won his only other cap as a substitute against Hungary in August, said: 'It's great to play for your country and I am delighted with my first start. I'm glad it was a win.[LNB] 'It was a difficult game but we kept the ball well and it's great to play with players like that - they make it easy.[LNB] 'Not going forward was tough but it's quite similar to the role I play at Arsenal and I will play anywhere for my country.'[LNB] Young, whose winner was due reward for an energetic display, said: 'To score my first goal for England is very special, and up there as one of the best moments of my career. I hope I can now start to establish myself in the side.'[LNB] Denmark 1 England 2: Young boosts Fabio as Three Lions complete friendly fightback Martin Samuel: Eriksen's free reign must leave Wilshere straining at leash Jack-elele's international audition: How did Wilshere fair in his England bow?It must have been pure Agger-ny!
