Aston Villa striker Nathan Delfouneso is keen to play some part in Saturday's FA Cup semi-final clash with Chelsea at Wembley.[LNB] The 19-year-old has created a favourable impression during his few first-team outings this season and did well as a substitute when Villa were hammered 7-1 at Stamford Bridge 11 days ago.[LNB]Delfouneso, who scored twice for Villa in the Europa League last season, said: "It would be a great achievement for me to be involved and to get on the pitch as well.[LNB]"Even though I didn't get on for the Carling Cup final, it was still a great experience for me just to be involved with the squad, to be on the bench and part of the warm-up.[LNB]"To play some part this weekend against Chelsea would be something of a stepping stone for me in my career."[LNB]Delfouneso has also struck twice in Villa's run to the last four of the FA Cup this season - against Blackburn and Brighton.[LNB]And he spelt out the determination in the Villa squad to avoid a repeat of the mauling by Chelsea in their last meeting.[LNB]Delfouneso said: "That sort of result is something you really want to try and forget about - although you never forget it really and you are always going to hear about it.[LNB]"It just might give us a bit more incentive to go out there on Saturday and put things right.[LNB]"But on Saturday we will go out with a clean slate, to play the game, to go for it, and to try and reach a second final of the season."[LNB]
