Cheyrou: No contact from Villans
Reports claim Villa boss Martin O'Neill is lining up the Frenchman as a replacement for Barry, who left for Manchester City earlier this month.
But l'OM boss Didier Deschamps is keen to keep Cheyrou, brother of former Liverpool player Bruno, and the 28-year-old has distanced himself from rumours of an exit.
He told skysports:" My contract with Marseille runs until June 2011, so after a difficult season I am currently a Marseillais.
"I want to relax, I have no contacts so far with any club."
