Villa were in a similar position to finish in the top four of the Premier League 12 months ago but a late fade-out meant they were overhauled by Arsenal and Everton and had to settle for sixth spot.[LNB]The Midlands club are again challenging strongly and Tuesday's win over Wigan means they are only three pooints behind fourth-placed Tottenham and with a game in hand.[LNB]And Carew is adamant Villa can last the pace until the end of the campaign.[LNB]The Norwegian international said: "We have a bigger squad than last season and there have been more players playing this year compared to before.[LNB]"The players are super-fit and we've learned from last year when we didn't manage to maintain the level of performance for the whole season.
