Carew: Villa not suffering hangover

Villa went into Christmas lying in fourth spot in the Premier League but were beaten 3-0 at Arsenal and then lost to an injury-time goal against Liverpool, dropping them to sixth in the table.[LNB]Martin O'Neill's side will be mindful of their dramatic fade during the final third of last season when a Champions League spot was beckoning at the start of March.[LNB]But Carew is confident Villa will learn from those experiences and sustain a top four challenge.[LNB]The Norwegian international said: "To lose in injury-time like that against Liverpool was very disappointing.[LNB]"We deserved at least a draw. The most important thing is not to lose the games.[LNB]"We have had two losses in a row but we've still got lots to look forward to - and this little sequence is not going to break us.[LNB]"We are going to come back from this. We've had a great season until now, we are also in the semi-finals of the Carling Cup, and we have to get back on track."[LNB]Carew added: "It's important to stay positive, it's very important, and we're going to do that in the next game.[LNB]"We have to learn from last season and I'm sure we have done, so I hope and think that this season's going to be different.[LNB]"We're going to get over this disappointment as quick as we can."[LNB][LNB]
