Capello standing by Heskey

// A bit of a hack but it works// The article snippet is wrapped onto a second line, even when #article-sub is emptyif( $("div#article-sub").children().length == 0 ) {$("div#article-sub").remove();} Fabio Capello believes Emile Heskey is so important to England's system that he may keep faith with the striker regardless of his club form.[LNB] Heskey's inclusion in the England side for the clash with Croatia raised a few eyebrows, especially with Jermain Defoe of Tottenham in such good form of late.[LNB]However, Capello feels Heskey can bring more out of star men Steven Gerrard and Wayne Rooney than any of his rivals for a starting spot.[LNB]Capello admits he could even be prepared to ignore his stated rule that players must feature for their clubs every week in order to be considered for international duty.[LNB]Heskey, who has scored seven goals in 56 England appearances, faces competition for a regular starting role at Aston Villa.[LNB]"I don't know whether I will break my golden rule for Heskey, I hope I don't have to think about it," said Capello.[LNB]Important"But he is really important to the system we play, both in terms of our movement and the way we press to win the ball back.[LNB]"I accept he is not the greatest finisher. But the others can do it. If he opens the door, they will arrive."[LNB]Capello also defended Heskey over a chance he missed at Wembley this week, saying that another player might not have had the opportunity anyway.[LNB]"Emile did miss a great chance on Wednesday but he was the one who created it," explained Capello.[LNB]"Someone else might not have created the same chance. Without his movement it is impossible."[LNB]
