Bent sets sights on Prem ton

Aston Villa striker Darren Bent has set himself the target of reaching 100 Premier League goals before Christmas.[LNB] The England international has scored 91 top-flight goals over the course of his career, which has seen him spend time at Ipswich, Charlton Athletic, Tottenham, Sunderland and most recently Villa. [LNB]Bent scored nine times for the Midlanders last season after arriving for £18million from Sunderland in January.[LNB]And the 27-year-old has fixed his sights on reaching a century this term. [LNB]Bent said: "I'm still targeting goals. I still want to get in the Premier League 100 goals club and I'm nine away now. [LNB]"Hopefully if I can chip away at that next season and get that as quickly as possible then I'll be over the moon. [LNB]"If I can get it by Christmas time then I'll be delighted. That's my aim, that's my focus and I'm determined to do it."
