Aston Villa's Kevin MacDonald in line to replace John Hughes as Hibernian boss

Aston Villa reserve team boss Kevin MacDonald has emerged as a contender to succeed John Hughes for the vacant manager's job at Hibernian.

MacDonald, 49, was in charge of Villa for the first seven games of the season on a caretaker basis following Martin O'Neill's resignation.
