Aston Villa's Jonathan Kodjia named Championship PFA Fans' Player of the Month for November

Congratulations to Jonathan Kodjia who has been voted the Championship PFA Fans' Player of the Month for November over fellow nominees Garath McCleary, Tom Ince, Glenn Murray, Tom Clarke and Henri Lansbury.

The award comes after a brilliant November for the striker who scored a brace against Blackburn at the beginning of the month where he was also named Man of the Match. In total the player has scored three in November and helped his side move within striking distance of the play-off places.

The 27-year-old Ivorian began his career in France where he was born but joined Bristol City in 2015 before joining Villa in 2016 for £11m. The in-form striker has gone on to make 13 league appearances, scoring seven so far this season.

The Africa Cup of Nations could well be a major headache for Villa in January with Kodjia being in such a rich vein of form and they may well be forced to bring in reinforcements if they are to be in with a chance of promotion back to the Premier League.

Voting is now open for the Sky Bet League One PFA Fans' Player of the Month for November.
