Aston Villa have had a ?10million bid for Charles N'Zogbia rejected by Wigan.[LNB]N'Zogbia is Alex McLeish's top target to replace Stewart Downing, who has left to join Liverpool for ?20m, but the move has hit the buffers with the Latics playing hardball over a fee and the winger holding out for a higher offer than the ?50,000-a-week on the table from Villa.
