Aston Villa wait to see if Shay Given will face Blackburn

Aston Villa hope Shay Given will be fit to face Blackburn on Saturday.[LNB]The Republic of Ireland goalkeeper suffered a groin strain during Villa's 0-0 draw at Fulham.[LNB]And the ?4.5million summer signing from Manchester City faces a race against time to be fit for his side's next match at Villa Park.[LNB] Injury doubt: Shay Given hopes to be fit after straining his groin[LNB]Villa boss Alex McLeish said: 'Shay had a bit of a tight groin, that's why James [Collins] took the goal-kicks.
