Leandro Bacuna available for Steve Bruce's first game in charge of Aston Villa

Steve Bruce will take charge of his first Aston Villa game against Wolves after being appointed their new boss.

The former Birmingham manager replaced Roberto Di Matteo, who was sacked after just 12 games with Villa 19th in the Sky Bet Championship.

Gabby Agbonlahor will be given a chance to return to the first team after being exiled by Di Matteo this season, but having not played since March the forward is unlikely to feature on Saturday.

Leandro Bacuna is available against after missing the 2-0 defeat at Preston through suspension, a result which spelled the end for Di Matteo.

Jon Dadi Bodvarsson could return for Wolves after missing their last two games.

The forward played for Iceland in their 2-0 win over Turkey on Sunday having shaken off a groin injury.

Nouha Dicko is almost fully fit after scoring twice in the EFL Trophy win over Crewe having made his comeback from a long-term knee injury in the defeat to Norwich at the start of the month.

Mike Williamson (glute) and Michal Zyro and Jordan Graham (both knee) are all long-term absentees for Wolves.
