Tim Sherwood says he can take the heat at Aston Villa
Under pressure Tim Sherwood insists he will deal with the growing uncertainty over his job at Aston Villa.
The boss will remain focused on his job with speculation over his position at Villa Park following a dire start to the season.
Villa host Swansea on Saturday second bottom of the Barclays Premier League and without a win since the opening day of the season with David Moyes having been linked to Sherwood's job.
And while Sherwood joked he will be looking for any out of work managers in the crowd he knows it is a situation he must handle.
He said: "You just get on with it. It's purely speculation. I'll be checking over my shoulder to see if anyone is positioning themselves in the directors box tomorrow.
"I'm easy with it. My job doesn't change. I still need to win a football match which I'm aware of. I'll be taking full responsibility for the team's performance and we'll win tomorrow.
"You just deal with it because it's part and parcel of the job. If you don't win games and you come under pressure and someone else gets linked to your job.
"I've been linked with a lot of jobs myself, I can't stop myself being linked and I can't stop, while I'm sitting in the seat, other people being linked. "
Sherwood has a fully fit squad for the first time this season with Gabby Agbonlahor available after a calf injury.
Mark Bunn could replace Brad Guzan in goal, though, after the American's error in Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Chelsea.
Sherwood added: "Everyone is fit. There are a few who haven't done as much training as we would've liked so will have to assess whether they're going to be ready but it's all quiet in the treatment room."
Ciaran Clark (thigh) is available again for the Premier League strugglers, while Jores Okore (knee) could come into contention against Swansea as the defender looks to make his first appearance of the season.
Jordan Amavi could return after being replaced by Kieran Richardson at Stamford Bridge.
Garry Monk feels Aston Villa must show Sherwood the same level of support he has received at Swansea to turn around the club's fortunes.
Monk himself been linked with the Villa post and said: "These links don't help managers. Tim's doing an excellent job and working as hard as I would be.
"You have to let managers get on with their jobs and concentrate and people should be supportive of them as people are with me and my staff."
Monk's own future has come under scrutiny this week after Monday's 1-0 home league defeat to Stoke made it six games without a win in all competitions.
Reports claimed Monk missed a training ground session on Wednesday and that Swansea manager Huw Jenkins wants to bring in a more experienced figure to work alongside him.
But Monk dismissed those stories at his pre-match press conference and said Jenkins had given him complete support since putting him in charge of team affairs in February 2014.
"The chairman is fantastic," Monk said. "He is very supportive of what I do and lets me get on with it.
"The good thing about this club and working with him is that he allows me to grow as a manager. He's done that since day one.
"We have regular chats about numerous things because he is the chairman of the club.
"He likes to see what's going on, but he sees how I work, he sees the commitment and effort I put in and the quality of what we are doing and he supports it."
Wayne Routledge could be back in contention for Swansea' after missing the Stoke defeat with a tight calf. Monk will make a check on the winger before Swansea head to the west Midlands.
Ki Sung-yueng is set to replace Jack Cork in the Swansea midfield at Villa Park and Kyle Naughton could return at right-back with Angel Rangel dropping to the bench.
