Aston Villa defender Carlos Cuellar excited by Rangers return

ShareCarlos Cuellar has admitted he is excited by the prospect of a return to Scottish champions Rangers, hinting he will quit Aston Villa this summer.[LNB]The Spanish defender quit the Scottish champions for Villa Park three years ago after just one season at Ibrox.[LNB] Going back: Carlos Cuellar would leave Aston Villa to return to Rangers[LNB]He has been linked with a move back to the Glasgow giants as new boss Ally McCoist prepares for his first campaign at the helm.[LNB]'I have to find out what Villa want me to do but I'm very surprised to hear that Rangers want me back,' Cuellar told the Daily Record.[LNB]'It's exciting because Rangers, for me, has so many good memories.[LNB] Good memories: Cuellar was a hit at Ibrox before his switch to Villa Park[LNB]'It's exciting if there is a possibility to go back because all of those good memories come back - the city, the club, the people, how much they loved me and how much I loved them.[LNB]'Then there is the Champions League and the chance to win trophies again.
