Still learning: Kyle Walker[LNB]Aston Villa manager Gerard Houllier insists England newcomer Kyle Walker is 'not yet the finished article'.[LNB]However Houllier has been impressed with how Walker has adapted to the Barclays Premier League after spending the first half of the campaign on loan at QPR.[LNB]Walker, 20, has been chosen by Fabio Capello as part of his England squad for Wednesday's friendly international in Denmark after making an instant impact at Villa following his loan move from Tottenham.[LNB]He scored his first top-flight goal during Saturday's 2-2 home draw with Fulham and caused problems with his attacking runs and link play with Stewart Downing.[LNB]Houllier said: 'Kyle showed some international quality against Fulham. He had a good game - but we expect that.[LNB]'He is fast, he can defend, and he can burst through and his use of the ball is good. The full-backs in modern football have a lot of the ball so they need to be good footballers.[LNB]'We like to burst forward quickly and he is a tremendous asset at that.'[LNB]But Houllier stressed: 'Kyle is not the finished article. Glen Johnson is probably ahead of him. But this is his first experience in the Premier League practically and he's got to build on that. I think Kyle knows he has got a lot areas where he can improve.[LNB]'What I like about him is his attitude. He is eager to learn, to progress.'[LNB]Walker has taken inspiration from Gary Neville and Ashley Cole, long-term servants of the England team, during his short career.[LNB]Walker said: 'It was nice to hear people saying that Fabio Capello was name-checking me recently and that he was looking at me.[LNB]'To get a call-up has always been a dream. It has come quickly. That's the way football goes. One minute I am playing for QPR in the Championship, next minute I am at Villa and now this has happened (England). He's not the quickest and isn't really like an Ashley Cole getting forward. But not many people beat him. You're not going to stay at Manchester United for nearly 20 years if you're not good at defending.[LNB]'When I became a right-back my coach told me "look at Gary Neville and Ashley Cole".[LNB]'He said "look at Cole in terms of going forward and Neville for the defending" and I would learn a lot.
