Albrighton sets sights on cup final

Marc Albrighton is targeting FA Cup glory with Aston Villa but insists Birmingham's Carling Cup success is not an extra spur to clinch a Wembley final spot. Blues lifted their first major trophy for 48 years when they overcame Arsenal on Sunday to give their fans the bragging rights in the city. Albrighton would love to help Villa reach their first FA Cup final in 11 years, but knows his team have to be at their best to overcome Manchester City at Eastlands on Wednesday if they are to set up a home quarter-final with Everton or Reading. "I've not really thought about whether Blues being at a final will inspire us to do the same," he said. "It would be great to get to a cup final - no matter whether Blues have been there or not. "We've got to beat Manchester City first and, if we do that, we've got a hard tie against Everton or Reading. "It's going to be hard to get there but we will do our best."
