Aston Villa winger Marc Albrighton has signed a new three-and-a-half year contract to commit himself to the midlands club until 2014. The 20-year-old Academy product made his full Premier League debut on the opening day of the campaign against West Ham and has established himself as a first team regular. Albrighton has impressed new Villa manager Gerard Houllier, who has been quick to tie up his services on a long-term basis via the new deal. Houllier confirmed: "The contract with Marc is until 2014. Marc has stepped up very well to the first team. "Everything is about attitude - and his attitude is an example. "When you have the talent and the attitude, the commitment, looking after yourself, working hard in games, it means a lot. He enjoys playing."
