Sochaux defender Rabiu Afolabi has revealed that he could be moving to the Premier League this summer. The 29-year-old is set to leave the French club on a free transfer with his current deal set to run out in June. The Nigeria international insists that there have been no shortage of offers for his services but he would prefer a switch to England. Reports in France have linked the player - who can also play at full-back or defensive midfield - with a move to Aston Villa, Birmingham or Wolves. "I am a free agent in June. I have so many clubs interested in me," he told skysports.com. "However my preference is to play in the Premier League this is the best league in the world." Further speculation claims that the former Standard Liege man has already signed in principle for Mick McCarthy's men but Afolabi refused to give anything away. "I have nothing to say yet," he added. "Nothing is done so let's wait until the end of the season."
