A product of the Aston Villa youth academy, Delfouneso is one of a few players in recent years to make the successful step-up to the first-team.
The 6ft 1in striker has made a total of nineteen appearances in all competitions since making his debut in 2008, although the vast majority of those came as a susbstitute.
He has bagged six goals so far, including three in the FA Cup.
On the international stage Delfouneso has played for England at under 16, under 17, under 19 and 21 level, making a total of 40 appearances and scoring 20 times.
With a great mixture of height, pace, power and skill, many experts are predicting an extremely bright future for Delfouneso.
