The club is one of the oldest football teams in the area of Manchester, was also known as Hurst FC. The season of 2004/5 saw a change in manager twice and was to have a large effect on the theam as they were relegated for the first time in 21 years. The club were also the first ever winners of the Manchester senior cup.
