Only a tie for Ascoli

Ascoli played out a 1-1 tie with Chievo at the Bentegodi stadium. All the goal-scoring action happened within the confinds of the 1st half, with Chievos Sergio Pellissier scoring his 4th goal in as many games to put the hosts in front, only for 27-year-old defender Gianluca Comotto to level the score at 1-1 in the 43rd minute
