AS Roma captain Francesco Totti is making an excellent recovery from his recent knee surgery, according to club doctor Mario Brozzi.
The 31-year-old former Italy international suffered serious damage to his right knee in the recent 1-1 draw with Livorno, but Brozzi is impressed by the speed of Totti's recovery.
He said: "Francesco is doing very well and is continuing the rehabilitation process.
"The knee has responded positively and doesn't even look as if it has been operated on. He is walking normally without protection and can even flex the knee.
"There is everything to suggest one of those record recoveries that Totti is already accustomed to."
