AS Roma coach Luciano Spalletti claims he has no intention of resigning despite his side's surprise Champions League defeat to CFR Cluj.
The Italian side opened their Group A campaign with a 2-1 defeat at home to the Romanian debutants on Tuesday night.
But despite the shock scoreline at the Olympic Stadium and a below-par start to the new Serie A season, a defiant Spalletti has vowed to stand firm.
"I am not leaving Roma," he claimed.
"The fans must be calm because now we will work even harder.
"We must turn around this situation because otherwise it will become harder."
