Ranieri: Roma will fight for title

Roma coach Claudio Ranieri does not accept that a Coppa Italia Final defeat to Internazionale also signals the end of the Serie A title race.

The Giallorossi lost Wednesday's showpiece 1-0 to the current league leaders, who they also trail by two points with just two games remaining in the domestic season.

But despite the psychological blow of losing the cup final to Inter and having captain Francesco Totti sent off in the second half, Ranieri is refusing to admit defeat in the race for the Scudetto.

"They punished us and we have to honour the winner," he said. "But we will not give up in the race for the Scudetto.

"We will try with all our strength."
