Italy national team head coach Cesare Prandelli has all but ruled out handing an international recall to Roma legend Francesco Totti. Prandellli had seemingly suggested that 34-year-old playmaker Totti would be approached about a comeback, having not featured for the Azzurri since their World Cup final win in 2006. However, Prandelli says that his comments were taken out of context, telling Rai: "Totti? There is plenty to look at in depth, but my statement was taken out of context, blowing it out of proportion. "I have a new project now and I want to focus on that." Meanwhile, Roma's Montenegro striker Mirko Vucinic has made known his hope of impressing for both club and country to attract interest from England. The 27-year-old told the Daily Mail: "I am very happy there is a lot of interest from the Premier League. "The Premier League is one of the best leagues in the world and I just have to keep playing my football in the best possible manner."
