France central defender Philippe Mexes will not be leaving Roma to join Juventus in the summer, according to the player's agent.
The 27-year-old's current deal in the Italian capital runs until the summer of 2011, but that has not stopped the rumour mill suggesting that Juve were looking to do a deal.
However, agent Olivier Jouanneaux told Calciomercato.com: "Philippe is fine at Roma and he is focused on doing well this season, not on market rumours.
"As for a (contract) renewal, the club is dealing with all those players who will be out of contract this summer.
"Once these things have been concluded, we will sit down with Roma to discuss the player's future."
Mexes joined Roma in the summer of 2004 from Auxerre and has since clocked up around 200 appearances in all competitions.
