Burdisso desperate for Roma deal

The agent of out-of-favour Internazionale central defender Nicolas Burdisso retains hoped that a deal with Roam can still be reached before the transfer window slams shut.

The 29-year-old impressed while on loan with the Giallorossi last season and is desperate to make a permanent return to the capital, having been offered little hope of a regular place in the San Siro plans of new head coach Rafa Benitez.

Fernando Hidalgo told Il Corriere dello Sport: "He is not happy, we all know what his will is.

"A meeting to resolve the situation? Maybe sometime next week."

Meanwhile, another Argentinian who is definitely on the move is Bayern Munich midfielder Jose Sosa, who will head to Serie A to join Napoli in the very near future.
