Enrique planning all-out attack against Udinese

Roma coach Luis Enrique says his side will go on the attack when they travel to Udinese in Serie A on Friday night in a match brought forward from the weekend.

The visitors are just two places behind their hosts and need a victory to push them into a title-challenging position.

And while Roma have largely struggled in front of goal this season, Enrique has vowed to launch an all-out offensive in the north-east.

"You have to attack for 90 minutes or you suffer against Udinese," said the Spaniard. "But we also have to be very careful because they're lethal on the counter-attack.

"We're in good form and I'm keen to see how we get on against a team that have been doing some amazing work for years.

"I'm a fan of how Udinese go about their work."

Enrique is expecting to have a lot of the ball against Francesco Guidolin's team.

"Our aim is to always match everyone we play against. Against Udinese we'll have control of the ball and Guidolin's team will be sitting back and trying to hurt us on the counter," he said.

"Our style of play is non-negotiable, it must always be the same regardless of the opponents or the score. I want our opponents to have to adapt to us."

Guidolin is wary of the threat posed by Roma despite their patchy form this season, not least because he has always struggled against them.

"Roma are improving, they have a very interesting project and it's not easy in a place like Rome," he said.

"They play good football and have strong players and mentality. And when you add to that the fact they're the team against whom I've earned the fewest points in my career, then it won't be easy."
