Yaya Toure's agent will hold a meeting with Barcelona dealmaker Txiki Begiristain ON Friday and is hoping to pave the way for a £20m move to Manchester City.

Dimitri Seluk claims the Barcelona midfielder has already signed a deal with a Barclays Premier League club although he remains tight-lipped on where the Ivory Coast international will be playing next season.

Toure has long been linked with a move to England with mega-rich City, captained by older brother Kolo, thought to be leading the race for his signature.

City's cross-town rivals Manchester United and Arsenal are also reportedly interested, while Kolo's former club Arsenal have been monitoring him for several years.

'If everything goes well, Yaya will go to England,' Seluk told Spanish radio station, Ona FM.

'But we can't talk about definite clubs. We already have a closed deal, and all will be resolved before the World Cup.'

Oh, brother: Yaya could join forces with brother Kolo, who captains City

Toure joined Barcelona in a nine million euro deal from Monaco in June 2007 andimmediately became a regular in the team, adapting to a more defensive midfield role.

The Ivory Coast international was a key member of the stunning Barca side that lifted six trophies in 2009 and he extended his stay at the Nou Camp only last summer, but he appears to have fallen out of favour in the latter part of the season.

A sticking point for interested clubs could be the high transfer fee Barca are likely to demand, with the Catalan giants reportedly slapping a 36m euro price-tag on the 27-year-old.

Seluk added: 'It seems to me too much money. His club have shown they want himto leave, it's not normal that they're asking for this amount.

'If (Barca president Joan Laporta) likes Toure so much, he could have explained why he didn't play so much.

'This year we haven't spoken to him even one time, and if he leaves it's because that was lacking.'
