Wolves 1 Arsenal 4: Goal crazy Gunners on their way to 150

Unlike out on the pitch, there was a defensiveness in Arsenal as they discussed yet another goal-glut.[LNB]But after this four-goal performance, the statisticians were busy thumbing through the record books. Never mind becoming the first side in Premier League history to top 100 goals - if Arsenal play 50 games this season, not unreasonable as they are involved in four competitions, they could rack up 150. [LNB]The four at Molineux means Arsene Wenger's side have scored 55 times in 19 games, two shy of three per match.[LNB] Midfield tussle: Segundo Castillo of Wolverhampton Wanderers battles it out with Cesc Fabregas[LNB] Manchester United were three short of breaking the magic century figure nine years ago. Before that, you have to go back to the Spurs old Division One side that scored 111 goals in 1962-63 to find anyone who has reached that milestone.[LNB]Although all the talk beforehand highlighted Arsenal's defensive frailties, if they are scoring at least three themselves, what does it matter?[LNB]However, both manager and skipper warned against such thinking. Asked about a goalscoring record, Wenger said: 'I don't know if it's possible. What is possible is to continue playing the way we play and even to play better.[LNB]'That's why you are always cautious in football because it's a very fragile sport.' Cesc Fabregas was asked the same question and was cautious, too. [LNB]He said: 'We don't look at what the Invincibles achieved, or whatever the name of that team was. We are Arsenal. We are young and trying to do our best. There will come a time when we cannot score. So we just have to keep going.'[LNB] No way through this time: Nenad Milijas tackles Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey[LNB] Wolves were in the game until just before the half hour mark and then two own goals in eight minutes led to their downfall.[LNB]Under pressure from Eduardo, Ronald Zubar deflected Fabregas's free-kick into the net, although the real culprit was goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey, who failed to command his six-yard box. [LNB]Then sloppiness upfield ended with Aaron Ramsey streaking clear and feeding Eduardo, whose attempted lob was going wide until Jody Craddock's head diverted it over Hennessey.[LNB]It was Arsenal's third that will linger long in the memory with Fabregas finishing a move of stunning simplicity, while Andrey Arshavin added the fourth.[LNB]Woves' consolation came from Craddock, his third headed goal in a week. Team-mate David Edwards, the Wales midfielder, said: 'I've played international games and Arsenal are by far the best team I've ever played against.'[LNB]  ARSENAL
