Arsenal cult hero Perry Groves has urged Arsene Wenger to sign Wilson Palacios from their fierce rivals Tottenham. [LNB]Arsenal bound? Groves says Palcios would be a great signing [LNB]Wenger famously brought Sol Campbell across the north London border back in 2001, in a move that still leaves Spurs fans with a sour taste in their mouths. [LNB]And Groves, who spent six seasons with the Gunners, reckons the Arsenal boss should repeat the feat by luring Palacios to the Emirates. [LNB] 'He's the kind of midfield player we're missing. He has high energylevels, a great work-ethic and stops the other team from playing,'Groves told Goal.com. [LNB]Any such move is likely to set the Gunners back in excess of the£12million Harry Redknapp paid for the Honduras international'sservices in January last year.[LNB] But Groves believes it would be money well spent and backs Palacios to slot into Arsenal's young midfield.  [LNB] 'I think it's quite ironic that Palacios came on trial to Arsenalbut at the time we had [Patrick] Vieira, Gilberto [Silva] and [Cesc]Fabregas, and Wenger couldn't see him breaking into our side sorecommended the player to Steve Bruce when he was at Birmingham. Spurs are unlikely to let their best playercome to us. But it's that kind of player that we need.'
