Wilshere optimistic about derby clash
Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is confident he can win his fitness battle and face Tottenham in the north London derby at Emirates Stadium.
The 18-year-old was forced to miss England's 2-1 defeat by France at Wembley, where he had been expected to make his first senior international start, because of a back problem.
However, Wilshere - who has impressed this season with 13 starts already - believes he is on course to play against Spurs.
Wilshere wrote on Twitter: "Feeling better, training [on Friday] and hopefully selected for Saturday."
